Just found out today there is a new biography coming out soon about Charles Schultz. Everyone is familiar with the comic strip Peanuts, but anyone who was really paying attention noticed the dark undercurrent that ran through the strip. The strip was not created and maintained by a happy person. The biography will also contain several Peanuts strips, and how they paralleled what was going on in Schultz's life. Like this tidbit: A story about Snoopy's crush on another dog mirrors Schultz's real-life extramarital affair.
