Beukey on Pop Culture

This blog will focus on pop culture, with an emphasis on views outside, overlooked, or ignored by the mainstream. I may veer off-topic. We are all grown-ups, so don't act shocked at occasional bad language. This blog is not the place for those of you who stood in line to see "The Lake House".

Dennis Miller A Senator?

Today's clickable news story says that Miller is joining Fox News, but I find it more scary that he was talked about as a candidate for Senator.

I know this guy basically makes his living by giving his opinion, but what makes him qualified for Senator? Because he hosted a talk show? Because he hosted a kid's show? Because he talked football to America?

Since it is August, and everybody in DC takes time off in August, I will be stepping away from the blog for a few days. Check back in about a week for new stuff.

Beukey, where do you rank Dennis Miller on the list of the all-time worst people from Pittsburgh? Above Rick Santorum? Below Charles Graner (I'm including Uniontown)? Somewhere around Richard Mellon Scaife? Shirley Jones? Chucky Porter and Codfish Bricker? Orrin Hatch?
